MHST via BeU Swindon: Accessing the service

First steps to getting help

This level of support is for children, young people and families that are experiencing mild or temporary difficulties or are adjusting to life circumstances where getting and acting on advice hasn’t helped to resolve their difficulties or where their difficulties have got worse may benefit from short term evidence based treatments from health services.

Our practitioners offer a wide range of educational material and resources as well as guided self-help to children, young people and parents/carers. We provide one-off consultations to anyone working in our partner schools who seeks advice or experiences difficulties with a particular child. Staff training sessions are available on a number of subjects identified with the school and can be delivered face-to-face or digitally.
