What is independent travel training?

Independent Travel Training aims to provide children and young people with experience and skills in travelling independently either by public transport, or on foot to their educational setting. The training should increase independence and promote sustainable travel.

This is a new Hub set up to develop Swindon's independent travel offer, to enable students to travel independently to and from their educational setting.
