School safe environment zones (SSEZ)

The top 20 schools that were identified to be included in the year 3 programme, underwent further investigations to determine the most appropriate measures, dependent on their specific circumstances.

The following schools carried over from year 2 to year 3 will now be taken forward during year 4.

• Kingsdown School, SSEZ was introduced during year 2. Further monitoring and behavioural change initiatives were provided during year 3. Swindon Borough Councils Road Safety Officer will continue to provide support were required. No further engineering initiatives available as part of this 5 year program.
