Direction sign upgrade

Works to upgrade strategic direction signs around Swindon are complete.

Signs have been updated and replaced at Woodhall Park roundabout, Akers Way, Cheney Manor Industrial Estate road, St Mary’s roundabout and Baileys Corner.

This work seeks to:

update existing direction signs in line with latest sign design legislation
review destinations in line with wider network changes
replace highways assets that are at the end of their life

This scheme is part of an annual programme to review and upgrade strategic direction signs on routes across Swindon.
