Power/electricity services:

If your power goes out, call 105 for a free report and information about power cuts in your area.

Fallen trees:

If you have seen a fallen tree, please contact our tree gang on 01793 445500  or if you have a My Account, report it online here

Flooding:

For any issues regarding flooding, please call 01793 445500.

  • Green - service is being delivered as normal.
  • Amber - service is experiencing disruption and may not be delivered but we will try our best. Further information will be provided.
  • Red - service is no longer being delivered. Residents will be informed as soon as service delivery begins again.

Household Waste Recycling Centre ('the tip')

The Household Waste Recycling Centre in Cheney Manor industrial estate is open on Monday (21 February) to residents with booked appointments. However, with a Met Office Yellow warning for strong winds in place for Monday we will regularly review the conditions. If you have a visit booked, please expect the conditions to cause some delays and potential queues.

Homelessness support

The Severe Weather Emergency Protocol has been activated until Monday (21 February), meaning that every effort will be made to provide emergency shelter to all people sleeping rough in Swindon. All rough sleepers we are aware of have been contacted and offered accommodation. Members of the public can also report rough sleepers by calling 0300 500 0914 or emailing hoptions@swindon.gov.uk.
