Parking enforcement

The Traffic Management Act requires local authorities to set two levels of penalty charge related to the seriousness of the contravention.

Swindon has adopted the higher contravention price band at £70 (£35) and the lower contravention price band at £50 (£25).

Higher contravention

• Parked in a restricted street during prescribed hours
