Apply for a street collection licence

A Street Collection Licence is required if you intend to collect money or sell articles for the benefit of charitable causes or any other purpose. This applies to anywhere that there is public access, which can be on either private or public property.

There are certain areas in Swindon (e.g. shopping complexes) where it is also necessary to obtain separate permission from the owners or managers of the site. The licence does not grant this permission and so you should also contact the owners or managers directly.
