Terminate a tenancy

If you no longer need your garage or parking bay, you can terminate your tenancy.

To terminate a tenancy you should:

  1. Give one week's notice by email to garages@swindon.gov.uk
  2. Download, print and complete a council garage tenancy termination form (PDF)
  3. Bring your completed form and keys to Customer Services reception within the notice period

We will continue to charge weekly rent until you return your keys and provide your termination form.
