NHS Health Check
The NHS Health Check is a national scheme to provide health check-ups to adults aged 40-74 years to help prevent type 2 diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, stroke and dementia.
If you are eligible for an NHS Health Check, your GP will send you an invitation letter. You can then book an appointment with your GP or any pharmacy offering the service (listed below).

NHS screening
Screening is a way of identifying apparently healthy people who may have an increased risk of a particular condition.
The NHS offers a range of screening tests to different sections of the population.
