Home to school travel policy consultation

We want to ensure we continue to deliver home to school travel assistance that meets the needs of as many of Swindon’s eligible children and young people as possible and to enable individuals to access their place of education, whilst developing key skills such as independence.

We are proposing to make some changes to our travel policy and are inviting community members to provide feedback on these proposed changes. Further information on these proposals can be found in the survey itself.

The consultation period will run for 12 weeks from Monday, 6 January 2025 to Sunday, 30 March 2025.
