A book launch to celebrate the publication of "The Palace of My Imagination".
Join us on the ground floor of Swindon Central Library to mark the publication of "The Palace of My Imagination".
This new novel by John Cullimore is inspired by the life and turbulent times of Swindon's remarkable "Hammerman Poet" Alfred Williams. John spent his career as a consultant surgeon in Swindon’s Hospitals.
He previously wrote the music and co-wrote the script for "The Hammerman" musical about Alfred, performed in Swindon in 2010 and 2012 at STEAM.
Meet the author and get your own signed copy. Any profits will be donated to the Swindon Heritage Preservation Trust to support restoration of the Mechanics’ Institution - an important landmark in Alfred’s life.
